Why We Give

The gospel compels us towards faithful stewardship – living simply and giving generously – because we have our deepest needs met in Jesus. Therefore, giving sacrificially (Luke 21:4) and cheerfully (2 Cor. 9:7) is an important part of our worship to God. It forms us as believers to treasure Jesus above all things, it helps us support the mission and work of the local church, and it testifies to an unbelieving world about the generosity of the God we serve.
